Also, if you are taking an antihistamine such as benadryl, Claritin, Zyrtec, or a cough & cold medicine (which often contain antihistamines), please stop the medicine 5 days prior to your first visit with me if you can. You can continue taking all other medicines, including intranasal and inhaled steroids. If you have an albuterol or xopenex inhaler, please bring it, along with your spacer, to the appointment.

NEW RHEUMATOLOGY PATIENT

Please wear relatively loose-fitting clothing to your first visit with me, as this makes joint exams much easier.
